For our client, global consumer goods company, which is opening brand new service centre in Prague, Czech Republic, we are looking for

Team Leader, Accounts Receivable
Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Within this role You would be responsible for overseeing an Accounts Receivable team within the company’s Shared Service Centre, managing staff members to complete their work in areas of cash application, deduction processing, customer account reconciliation and customer payment processing. You would also oversee the credit and collection process, manage and review month end AR module closing, participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and act as the front line of communication for functional AR area. What is more, you would prepare reports for management, supporting documentations for internal and external auditors and various government reports. Person hired on this position would also act as Subject Matter Specialist for AR process, manage Sarbanes Oxley reports and assist with staff selection and development as well as monitor, manage, confirm and report Key Performance Indicators for services offered to the business.

Perfect candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in a finance and accounting department, hold at least Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. You should also have strong accounting and analytical skills and at least 3 years’ experience in people management. Project management and process improvement skills are also desirable. Solid understanding of accounting systems and processes and strong technology skills, including PC and WEB-based applications with a working knowledge of business finance system platforms (Excel, SAP) and proficiency in both written and spoken English are also required.
