Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of development and support team for existing IT system.
- Participate in new features development for existing components (clarify business requirements, design required changes, provide effort estimations, do coding, unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases)
- Participate in Level 2 and 3 Production support: promptly react on alerts from a monitoring system and GSD requests in chat, implement production changes; analyze logs, solve issues.
- Deploy implemented changes to Production
Requirements:
Must have:
- Overall understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Excellent knowledge in C++
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required.
- Multithreaded development experience and sockets are required
- Knowledge of STL is required.
- Knowledge of Boost (at least the parts became a part of C++11)
- Ability and desire to write well readable and low latency code.
Nice to have:
- Much preference will be given to candidates that have already worked with Market Data for feeds including some or all of these: CQS, UQDF, OPRA, ITCH, ArcaBook, OpenBook, BATS, CME.
- Proactive approach to any task assigned
- Knowledge of ACE library
