We are looking for talented and passionate Web Developers who are ready to create new web-based tools and to extend already released.
You will be responsible for software design, implementation, analyzing and solving complex engineering problems and hitches in web development area. As a team, we create products developed in many technologies like Ruby, Python, JavaScript that support development in Nokia Radio Frequency and Advanced Antennas department.
- Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Javascript (jQuery, Angular, React), HTML5, CSS3
- Linux
- Testing frameworks
- JIRA
- Version control (GIT) and code review systems
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar
- excellent knowledge of Ruby
- good knowledge of Linux (shell, shell scripting)
- good knowledge of Git, GitLab or GitHub
- excellent knowledge of following frameworks (at least one): Ruby on Rails, Padrino, Hanami, Roda
- knowledge of JavaScript (jQuery, Angular, React), HTML5, CSS3
- strong analytical skills
- good communication in English (both written and spoken)
- knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, CI), Ruby Test frameworks (RSpec, Minitest, Capybara), databases (at least one): PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, cloud technologies and frameworks (Spark, Mesos, Akka, Cassandra, Kafka etc.), Python, PHP (with Symfony framework), knowledge sharing abilities will be a plus
