Global Mobility Manager
Location: Hong Kong
Within this role you would provide support and direction to the team fostering knowledge sharing with the global team, develop a team of high-performing individuals leading by example, build strong relationships with HR partner and senior business leader as well as identify areas for improvement and simplification for the function. You would manage the team responsible for international assignments, permanent transfers and other international relocation, as well as US domestic relocations and APAC region issues (China, Australia, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand). The role involves having ownership of the global mobility programs, the relocation, tax and immigration vendor relationships.
The perfect candidate should have Global Mobility and tax background, excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and relationship and consensus builder sense, with a client-service mentality. You should also possess a positive and “can-do” attitude, be able to navigate complex organizations and work in a matrix organization as well as have international experience and be accustomed to work in a global team across time zones. You should also have at least 8 years of experience in HR role with robust understanding of HR operating model, strong technical knowledge of global mobility tax/finance implications and experience in dealing with complex cases at senior level. Understanding of APAC locations and implications for global mobility products and services is also a must. Experience in the Financial Services and working knowledge of immigration regulations in the region would be an asset.
