About the project
You will be a member of the Integration and Verification team of experts developing the Factory Delivery Software component for the Nokia BTS module. You will have a significant impact on feature estimation, preparation of test plans, test reviews, reporting, and coordinating of test execution. Besides this, you will automate tests, lead and support team members in their daily work, as well as troubleshooting activities. You will be also involved in estimation activities for incoming software development programs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute testing strategy
- Lead team to design test plans, prepare test cases, execute them and automate as well as other daily activities
- Improve test automation framework
- Maintain and monitor test automation framework
- Report test progress and major issues
- Knowledge and practical ability to implement software testing processes and tools
- Understanding of testing methodologies (ISTQB Manager certification is a plus)
- Test optimization and automation experience
- Practical knowledge of Python and bash is a plus
- 5+ year of experience in software testing
- Network configuration and troubleshooting experience (IPv4, IPv6, IPSec, DHCP, Wireshark, switch and routing tables configuration)
- Practical knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git and Quality Center
- Technical leadership with excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Good communication in English
