For our client, well-known e-commerce company we are looking for:

Java Developer

Within this role you would help design and build distributed microservices landscape and evangelise best practices and write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability. You would also use agile methodologies as well as think big-picture: constantly evaluate our client’s work and processes and challenge co-workers.

Perfect candidate should have deep knowledge of Scala, Java or Python, experience with relational and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra) databases. You should also be enthusiastic about microservices architectures, distributed systems and RESTful APIs, have experience with building and/or running large-scale applications on a PaaS/SaaS cloud (preferably AWS). Knowledge of current trends in software design, architecture and web services and fluency in English are a must.

Our client offers 3 months (with the view of extending), full time contract based in Berlin. This is a well-paid role with a lot of challenges, in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
