This position will be responsible for managing Algorithm Engineering Department for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in Łódź, Poland. One of key areas will be effective cooperation and integration with other ZF R&D locations globally in area of Algorithm and SW engineering. Your group will be responsible for development of algorithms of various functions like Overspeed Prevention System, Preventive Pedestrian Protection or Collision Warning and Emergency Braking used in autonomous driving cars.
- Coordination of development, implementation and calibration of ADAS algorithms within assigned team;
- Recruiting candidates by interviewing and testing applicants;
- Supporting project planning on local and global level within ADAS product line;
- Enforcing adherence of the team to defined processes and support in optimizing of the processes;
- Communication with other disciplines like Software, Systems Engineering or Testing per project needs;
- Running employee assessment and employee development processes;
- University degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Automation and Control or similar;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project/team management area;
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and conflict management skills;
- Experience in Model Based Development technologies and Matlab/Simulink toolchain;
- Background in SW Engineering with focus on C-language knowledge;
- Very good English, spoken and written (German would be a plus);
