Senior Frontend Developer with Shopify

We are currently looking for a SENIOR FRONTEND DEVELOPER with SHOPIFY to join our team.

• Manage and enhance our existing DTC sites with Shopify Liquid and a headless CMS
• Develop and optimize our Shopify themes
• Implement new UI projects in HTML / CSS / JS based on the PSD / Sketch file mockups provided by the designer
• Integration of third party applications and partner platforms
• Can code and implement applications in a multi-platform environment with different browsers, with an emphasis on the use of mobile sites and responsive design
• Implementing SEO / CRO best practices on Shopify sites with the support of regional teams.
• Work closely with Conversion and Campaign teams to create up-to-date marketing, UX and promotional campaigns and site enhancements (landing pages, pop-ups, gamification, lead generation forms, etc.) to increase conversion and revenue
• Working with version control systems such as Bitbucket
• Accurate QA work before submission; manage quality control and implementation process with a regional technician
• Adhere to high engineering standards and ensure consistency for the many code bases and processes you encounter
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, and operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors as they arise and identify areas for site improvement

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in creating Shopify websites.
• Expert knowledge of the Shopify Liquid template language
• Knowledge of Shopify development systems such as Polaris, Theme Kit
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Knowledge of JavaScript libraries (eg JQuery)
• Proficiency in working with various Shopify APIs (storefront, AJAX cart, sections, etc.)
• Experience in implementing web analytics and tags for Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Optimization
• In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and best practices for designing responsive websites
• Understanding the Bitbucket service
• Understand the basics of SEO and its implementation on Shopify sites
• Experience in working with JIRA and project management tools such as Trello
