Tasks:
- Data Modeling: Data warehouse Dimensional Modeling and Operational Application modeling in 3NF; in compliance with company standards
- Ability to clearly draw solution design
- API and web services design for cross-application data integration
- Operational application design skills
- Data Flow and ETL design
- Informatica Power Center
- Experience with Front-End BI solutions like Tableau and/or Business Objects
- PL/SQL skills, including designing and modeling procedures and database structures
- Non-functional requirements gathering, like: defining security matrix, system recovery and backup schemes
- Ability to help the team with tasks that include: production support, optimizing ETL, Data models and Frond-End implementations
- Identification of project tasks, time, effort and resource estimates
- Maintaining and creating project Documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in work related to: Software development in enterprise projects
- Experience conducting large scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
- Being able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Ability to actively initiate and lead architecture and processes optimization and introducing new solutions
- Proactive approach towards area
- Taking the role of Problem Coordinator, Major Incident Manager if such problems occur in Service
- Communicates effectively with service Roche leaders (i.e.: Delivery Managers, Delivery Service Managers, Roche Support Lead, Lead Developer)
- Responsible for the ongoing adaptation processes to Roche needs
- Experience working in Agile Development Methodologies
- Good knowledge of Team Foundation Server - configuration level
- English at least at C1 level 13. 5+ years of experience designing, building and implementing a data warehouse
- Strong SQL (Structured Query Language) and data extraction skills
- Experience optimizing physical designs for effective ETL and maximum query performance
- Experience with DB/ETL best practices
- Creating high-quality documentation
- Expertise knowledge of ITIL standards and SCRUM processes (ability to behave as a ScrumMaster)
- Strong problem-solving orientation
- Strong team and customer service focus
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with EAI and Ell best practices
- Experience in the application of various data integration patterns
- Experience in working in regulated domain (pharma, banking, auto-motive) will be an asset
