Technical Director

Job description

• supervising a proper exploitation, development and use of infrastructure and maintaining of production flow
• creating investment strategy and supervising its realization
• approving key decisions regarding technical purchases and approving budget expenditures
• planning, coordinating and supervising machinery exploitation procedures
• responsible for technical state of machinery, equipment and buildings
• testing and developing new systems in production plants
• assuring proper competences growth in technical area
• planning and prioritizing proper cooperation with customers, vendors and monitoring realization of key projects
• shaping policy and strategy of the company within technical area
• responsible for the implementation of budget and management of a team of subordinate managers
• involved in the formulation of long-term corporate strategy in cooperation with headquarters in Denmark

Requirements

• +5 years in managing Technical Department in large production companies
• University degree, preferably technical background
• Management experience from high precision machinery, tooling or similar industry will be an advantage
• Organizational skills and experience enabling to successfully run a large department
• Excellent communication and strong leadership skills
• Corporate & international experience
• Fluent knowledge of English
