The Active Directory Engineer will be a member of the Active Directory Level 3 Engineering team. The successful candidate will work across various businesses to drive integration of applications and technologies with the banks' Active Directory environment, ensuring the banks user authorisation and authentication policies are adhered to.
- This role requires an in depth knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2008/2012/2012 R2, Windows security and related technology.
- Knowledge of LDAP integrations as well as SSL protocols, ciphers, encryption and other authentication technologies.
- Experience with Kerberos, SPNEGO, SAML, 0Auth, and standard LDAP authentication methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues and assist with application configuration setup. Must be able to work in a team environment with a "can do" attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges.
- Need to understand the Installation, configuration and maintenance of AD/LDS, ADFS and/or Azure systems.
- Be comfortable working directly with internal and external application team to help with application configurations and migrations
- Minimum 5 years overall IT experience with 2 - 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies
- This position is responsible for all aspects of application integrations, including, but not limited to: Azure/O365, Active Directory and ADFS
- Knowledge of AD, ADLDS and ADFS application authentication and entitlement integration
- Be comfortable working directly with internal and external application team to help with application configurations and migrations
- Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technical skills
- Self-driven and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
