Your new role
The position of an Area Sales Manager is a position in technical sales, responsible for providing and organizing customer support in the automotive industry. The Area Sales Manager has the responsibility for all customer belongings and is the first contact person for the collaboration. He or she provides the customers with technical and commercial support within a reasonable time-frame and in a straightforward way, based on own knowledge and experience wherever possible or by organizing the solutions from the local team. The position also involves upcoming issues in the market and identifying opportunities for growth. The Area Sales Manager will be supported by an experienced sales team in Ernsbach (Germany).
What you'll need to succeed
The Area Sales Manager should have profound technical background and basic experience in engineering as a design engineer, in research and development, as a technical sales man, technical Key Account Manager or similar. We're looking for excellent communication skills to develop new customer relationships and strong English skills. You will also need to be flexible and ready to travel. Experience in automotive industry is highly valued.
