Sales Specialist Commercial Refrigeration

Location: Preferably in Poland

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Commercial Refrigeration Sales Specialist in the Performance Materials and Technologies, Fluorine Products business. Reporting to the EMEAI Business Director, the Commercial Refrigeration Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing product awareness, gaining in-store trials, influencing final product selection and ultimately creating demand for our line of HFO and HFC refrigerant replacement products at commercial refrigeration customers.. Examples of target customers across Europe at major food retailers and equipment makers would be: Carrefour, Metro, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Epta Refrigeration, Koxka, Hauser. The successful Sales Specialist will also be responsible for developing working relationships, in his territory, with major refrigeration contracting companies like : Axima, MCI, Carrier Refrigeration, Cesbron; to enable accelerated 2 way communication and expanded contractor mindshare.

Our customers include original equipment manufacturers, service technicians, supermarket and convenience store operators and facility managers around the world. We have been one of the world’s leading manufacturers of non-ozone-depleting hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants for the past 10 years and today we are the leader in the introduction of high efficiency, low global warming HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants, for automotive, residential, food retail, commercial and transportation uses. In Europe these products are sold under the Honeywell Refrigerants and Solstice brand names.

As a part of our Team you will be:

• Own and lead the commercial refrigeration segment growth for the territory.

• Own the overall customer project pipeline funnel from initiation to closure.

• Manage key metrics of new project creation revenue and project conversion rate to sales.

• Develop commercial and technical relationships at target customers, at country and regional level, with supermarket and convenience store operators; with a focus on converting stores to new Honeywell refrigerant solutions. (50-60% of time spent on direct selling in front of customers.).

• Build a database of important refrigeration contracting firms in the territory. Develop and lead regular training programs at contracting firms to increase mindshare around - Honeywell’s new offerings. (20% of time spent developing prospects down the value chain).

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Language: English + local language of region. German is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years min outside sales experience.
• Experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC a plus.
• Working in an unstructured environment or from a home-based office.
• Previous experience in covering large geographic territories.
• Experience in influencing powerful customers, across multiple level.

• Proven capability to move projects forward to a sales close by acting as a “challenger”.
• Hunting Skills: proven capability to pro-actively manage a territory, by balancing time spent between closing projects and generating new projects.
• Project management & leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
