For our Client, global manufacturing company, we are currently recruiting for the position:
Buyer (Direct)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Direct Parts
- Suppliers management in terms of performance (Quality, Cost, Delivery), financial condition, capacity readiness etc.
- RFQ - quote analysis/negotiation, contribution to the best costed BOM creation
- Supplier sourcing - contract management
- New suppliers development
- Negotiation and Achievement of sustainable cost reduction from responsible suppliers
- Cross functional collaboration
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain Management team and other regions facilities
- Supply Chain tool operation (SAP, Issuing Purchase Order, Spend and Cost reduction DATA etc)
- Suppliers visit
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Purchasing Specialist in an international production company
- Computer Savvy (DATA handling, Analysis, Microsoft)
- Good English command
- International Cross-culture experience
- SAP knowledge (Preferred)
- High Communication/Negotiation/collaboration skill with internal/external stakeholders.
- Positive attitude to learn and challenge new, to inform and listen to people
