We are looking for an experienced Contract/Claim Manager for one of our construction project in Romania willing to work directly on the Site in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will provide on-site advice to project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters, working closely with Project Management Leads, Finance and Commercial Managers and will prepare all key contractual correspondence and related claims/variations under the supervision of one of our senior partner
CONTRACT MANAGER

Opis stanowiska
Key Responsibilities:
- Will be required to respond to complex enquiries regarding FIDIC contract obligations
- Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review and advice to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
- Responsible for the day-to-day preparation of key contractual letters and the preparation of claims and variations
- Prepares and disseminates information regarding claims and variations status, contract compliance, modifications, etc.
- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and our senior partner, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
- Will be required to work in a client facing environment, with senior management levels
- Responsible for educating the project team on contract terms and monitoring compliance
- Develops and integrates Contract Management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement
- The contract manager may be assigned to other projects or contracts in the future
Wymagania
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- University Degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years experience of FIDIC contract management on construction sites
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC key principles and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices
- Able to resolve contracts and pricing issues
- Able to prepare claims and variations to a satisfactory level of substantiation
- Advise and interact with all levels of management
- Good oral and written communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet, Microsoft Word, writing skills
- Fluent in English. Other languages would be an advantage
