Our client, an international market leader in its segment, is looking for an experienced finance professional for the newly created position of EMEA Credit and Treasury Manager. The primary aspect of this position will be to protect the Accounts Receivable base through prudent credit and collection policies and overseeing regional adherence. The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to thoroughly analyze complex credit or AR situations and make sound credit/collection recommendations to create win-win solutions.


Job description:
-Establish a European process for evaluating credit risk of existing and new customers, and identifying key metrics to monitor in the various economies -Approve credit limits for existing and new customers. Review trends in the customer AR portfolio to identify risk factors and predictors of future performance. -Standardize and prepare regular reporting providing management with timely, accurate, and relevant information. -Support sales management by providing credit solutions, which support the sales and financial strategies of the company -Utilize financial and operational systems to complete assigned reporting & analysis duties and provide management with timely, accurate, and relevant information.
Who we are looking for:
-Bachelor''s degree in a related field is required. -Formal commercial credit training program or equivalent experience is required -Must have had authority to issue credit to customers in prior roles (at least up to 250K USD). -Must have a minimum of 7-10 years experience in credit/collections, with preferably 3 or more years dealing with the Construction Industry (Liens, Bonds and Bond rights). -Possesses strong organizational skills and is adept at multi-level communication (internal and external). -Analytical, negotiation, and process management skills. -Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a high volume, fast paced environment. -Overall proficiency with a personal computer and has the ability to learn new systems.
