DFMEA Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Moderation of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), their preparation and review in the development department of SBS (Seat Belt Systems)
- Support the early detection of possible failures and the definition of abatement measures in the product-, process development
- FMEA documentation and computer-aided visualization.
- Creation of the product structure tree (component, function, failure function) using the FMEA Software
- Planning, organizing and participation in the necessary FMEA meetings/working grops in consultation with the FMEA owners.
- Ensure the formal / methodology accuracy of the FMEA.
- Interface for experience, knowledge sharing and training between the various developments sites of TRW
- Evaluate and present the FMEA when required (Internal, External OEM)
- Checking and evaluation of supplier FMEAs
- Communication with customers and suppliers in regards to FMEA
- Monitoring the progress of FMEA projects
Requirements:
- Graduate engineer (MA or BA);
- Experience in the development of automotive industry, automotive supplier;
- Experience in the development of seat belt systems prefered;
- Experience in the methodology, preparation of FMEA desirable;
- Good knowledge of English, knowledge of the German language is beneficial;
- Solid knowledge of PC and application programs
- Knowledge of FMEA Software FMEA IQ (APIS) is beneficial.
