Our client, an international market leader in its segment, is looking for an experienced finance professional for the newly created position of EMEA Finance Director (Europe, Middle East & Africa).
The successful candidate will manage all financial activities of two business segments in the region with more than $200 million in revenue.
-Evaluate the current structure of the finance division and develop a strategic plan for driving continuing improvement
-Provide insightful business and financial analysis to senior management in EMEA and corporate management
-Lead continuing improvement of the forecasting process through education of regional finance staff & managing directors on financial issues affecting their results
-Deliver high-quality US GAAP financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple international entities
-Develop and implement control that would verify and maintain the integrity of all systems,processes, and data for worldwide visibility & value
-Take responsibility for mantaining Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance
-Partner with Corporate Treasury to optimize banking relationships and cash management
-Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
-MBA or equivalent certificate will be an advantage
-Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a senior financial position within an international environment
-Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX standards
-Professional qualifications in finance (ACCA or CIMA) are required
-Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional teams, drive change through process and system implementation
-Strong leadership, negotiating and communication skills
-Dynamic personality, flexibility and customer orientation
-Ability to work across multiple cultures and willingness to travel across the region (up to 50%)
-Fluent English and Polish in both writing and speaking
