For our client, a major multinational company in the automotive industry with growing production operation in Poland we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial activities and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and HQ. The company is located in Dolnoslaskie voivodeship.
- Management & development of the finance team ensuring clear goals and objectives are set and development plans in place
- Ensures the timely preparation of the annual budget
- Ensure accounting standards and policies are implemented and observed for both internal and external - local GAAP and fiscal reporting requirements
- Responsibility for the management of the month-end closing process, ensuring the accurate transparent and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly and yearly results
- Ensures timely preparation of all required financial reports in order to meet all legal, local and parent company reporting requirements
- Monitor and analyze the KPIs of all disciplines from a financial point of view in order to optimize performance
- Develop financial / controlling reporting tools and standardize internal processes
- Corporate with external institutions: banks, tax offices, auditing firms
- Prepare needed reports for the HQ
- University degree in Finance/Economic
- 6+ years of experience in progressive roles in accounting/finance, including minimum 3 years as Chief Accountant in international environment
- Experience in production industry is a must
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, accounting, controlling
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (ORACLE, SAP, JDE)
- Proven experience in managing people and developing teams
