For our client, global consumer goods company, we are looking for
Accountant, General Ledger
Within this role you would be responsible for participating in monthly closing of financials, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts. You would also produce variety of financial reports including periodic reports and analyses, setting forth progress and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. Within this role you would also support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responses to inquiries as well as participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks.
A successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in finance and accounting department, hold a financial or accounting degree and have strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with various EU local country statutory requirements. You must know MS Office, knowledge of SAP and Hyperion would be an asset. You also have to be proficient in both written and spoken English.
