For our client, global banking and financial services company, we are looking for
IT Project Manager / Market Risk Manager
Within this role you would develop new and existing applications, release projects for requested changes and manage teams between 5 – 10 people. The role also involves clarification/definition of project goals, scope and change management and project-related activity (budget, resource planning). The incumbent would also manage problems and escalations, coordinate overall acceptance process and handover to production as well as project closure and handover of all deliverables to management.
The perfect candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in project management, leadership skills and exposure to a formal development methodology (Agile, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development). You should be experienced in an investment banking, preferably in IB Risk (Market Risk, Counterparty Risk etc.) area. The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills and technical background, experience in managing projects with development teams near shore/offshore as well as know Business Analysis and requirements analysis techniques. You should be also a team player with great communications skills and know market risk calculations & processes. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of German would be an asset (but is not a must have).
