Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Your new company
Our client is a leading supplier of components and systems for the world’s automakers. In their R&D Center in Prague they develop advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for intelligent cars.
Your new role
In this role you would be responsible for relationships with the relevant engineers/technicians or our client’s R&D Centers influencing or responding to their needs and assisting with Feasibility Studies and support RFQ activities as required. One of your accountability would be also a creation of Mechanical 3D models with solid and surface model and 2D Drawings. What is more you would design detailed cracket for ECU integration into customer environment. Your new role also involves preforming EMEAs and participation on DFMEA meeting.
What you’ll need to succeed
Our client requires technical university or engineering high school degree with 3 years of experience in design in CATIA V5 in automotive, experience in design of mechatronic components or/and plastic parts. Solid and surface modeling experience in Catia V5 3D and detailing according to manufacturing process in Catia V5 2D are also a must. You should also have experience in MPLM (Matrix One). Fluency in spoken and written English is also required.
