We are opening a new department in Engineering Centre for Body Control Systems group, and we offer the following challenging and responsible tasks:
- Product development in accordance to all customer speculations and requirements.
- Execute the product design activities in accordance to engineering process and procedure.
- Execute R&D project from pre-quotation to post sop in accordance to the time plan and respecting the cost and time budget.
- Execute project design review and change management.
- Full ownership of product development.
- Support the metric control of R&D delivering metric data.
- Minimize product validation by the usage of CAE and simulation analysis.
- Define test plan according to customer specs, analyze and discuss test results with testing lab.
- Coordinate prototype builds and validation process.
- Properly use DOE for the development of experimental cases, execute 8d report.
- Technical interface to suppliers / customers in cooperation with relevant internal departments, occasional travel to manufacturing sites as required.
- Participate in cross functional teams in APQP process throughout the product development cycle.
- Evaluate and recommend necessary design changes or other solutions to improve quality or reduce costs.
- Understanding of design, manufacturing, cost and weight constraints necessary.
Your Qualification / Skills:
- Master/Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Precision Mechanics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Work experience of product development and/or design in Mechatronics and/or Plastics technology in the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of automotive electronics is a plus
- Solid knowledge in usage of 3D CAD systems, experience in UG NX required
- Familiarity and experience with FEA and other CAE tool.
- Excellent knowledge of English, German language is a plus,
- Experienced usage of MS Office.
