We are opening a new department in Engineering Centre for Body Control Systems group, and we offer the following challenging and responsible tasks:
- Independent supervision of internal employees to execute projects from first concept to start of production.
- Guarantee engineering process compliance and flawless product launch.
- Active participation to design review.
- Guarantee timing, budget and milestone adherence for all development program executed by the team.
- Execute and report periodically engineering metrics, provide monthly reports on engineering activities.
- Provide corrective action on the basis of metrics results.
- Ensure a robust management of the change process.
- Active processing of customer requests as well as technical support in preparation of specifications for internal departments.
- Guarantee the correct methodological approach to any potential quality issue.
- Technical interface to suppliers / customers in cooperation with relevant internal departments, occasional travel to manufacturing sites as required.
- Participation in cross functional teams regarding APQP process throughout the product life cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering activities and support VA/VE.
Your Qualification / Skills:
- Master/Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Precision Mechanics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally 8-12 years experience of product development and/or design in Mechatronics and/or Plastics technology in the automotive industry.
- Basic knowledge of automotive electronics.
- Solid knowledge in usage of 3D CAD systems, experience in UG NX required
- Experienced usage of MS Office.
- Excellent knowledge of English, German language is a plus.
