Project Description:
Department: IT Infrastructure Delivery (ITID) - Enterprise Services
We are a global function of over 2,500 people, and are part of the wider Infrastructure Delivery organisation. We serve all of the bank and its customers.
We work in partnership with the Infrastructure Architecture Function to set the vision and roadmap for all technologies across Infrastructure Delivery and to deliver Service designs in support of business IT programmes.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration in global MQ production support team and provide MQ support over different platforms like Linux, Windows, IBMi and IBMz
- Troubleshooting of the incidents occurred in the MQ environment (Production & Test Environment)
- Resolve authorization and connectivity problems.
- Backup and Recovery of the MQ objects/messages
- Create basic UNIX shell scripts for MQ administration and Support activities.
- Handling crisis calls, DQR & MIR
- Creation and verification of test cases
Skills
- Distributed queuing
- MQ clustering
- Complete awareness of MQ message flows and review the MQ architecture.
- Knowledge of MQ on SSL implementation
- MQ client-server knowledge.
- Knowledge of MQI calls
- MQ Contingency practices
- Understanding of MQ monitoring and configuration.
- Strong practical experience with MQ in Production Environment.
- Familiar with the terminology of WebSphere MQ as a tool
- Basic knowledge of WAS/IHS Restarts, generating core/heap dumps, tshooting OOO/heap size errors tec
