About the project
We are seeking a senior tool and data architect who can lead the evolution of MN asset management tools. As a member of the MN COO COSI team you will define requirements, participate in tool and data model development, and guide the deployment of new tools and the associated processes. You will lead discussions with IT as main interface to Project Manager, tool architect and developers.
Responsibilities
- Develop overall MN asset management tool roadmap that encompasses CAPEX and OPEX management, order management and asset lifecycle management
- Align the roadmap with other tools used within Nokia (SAP, i-Buy, MyOrders, etc.)
- Capture requirements from internal MN customers
- Define overall data model
- Collaborate with tool designers and developers to guide tool implementation, align project content and release planning with Project Manager
- Collaborate with process owners to update MN asset management processes as the tools evolve
- Analyze the impact of changes to individual tools on existing tools and MN processes
Requirements
- Own requirements capture and change management for MN asset management tools
- Define overall tool roadmap
- Collaborate as a member of a geographically and culturally diverse global team
- Define MN planning and inventory management data model that spans multiple tools and databases
- Communicate and document requirements for the team
- Interface with other Nokia tool teams and external suppliers on joint tool development projects to define and coordinate technical requirements
- Ensure interoperability with other related tools
- Work effectively across MN BUs and collaborate with other BGs as needed on tool roadmaps
- Track requirements through development and deployment
- Explore commercially available tools and industry trends and incorporate those elements into the roadmap as appropriate
- Understand (or quickly learn) MN lab environments and lab operations
- Prioritize essential functionality based on business needs
- Ability to collaborate in a worldwide team
- Experience in requirements capture and change management
- Experience in software development
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in software engineering or similar discipline
- Knowledge of development processes (Waterfall, Agile)
- Solid leadership, project management and communication skills
- “I own this” attitude and demonstrable problem-solving skills
- Solid data analysis and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of MN products and MN lab operations (or ability to learn)
Technologies
- Knowledge of asset management principles, financial principles and lifecycle costs
- Ability to understand data/business flows between tools such as 4Budget, MyOrders, I-Buy, SAP ERP, OneLab, NIMS, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP P10, P20 and SAP Blue Planet
- Knowledge of SAP financial cores and master data like Asset Master Data, Product Master Data, Actuals and Invoicing tracking, Supplier Master Data, Locations, etc.
- Previous experience with ordering tools and interfaces (myOrders, P2P Ariba / I-Buy, SRM) a plus
- Knowledge of microservice architecture and CI/CI tools
- Knowledge of Kafka, NoSQL, Cassandra, Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, React, BMPM
