For our client, an international company and market leader we are looking for an
OUTSOURCING PURCHASING MANAGER - GLOBAL (M/F)
for a permanent position Denmark

Your Duties:
• You will lead and ensure the development of outsourcing strategies, roadmaps
and goals (1-3-years plans), considering market opportunities, product
technology and overall risk analysis in each category and subcategory
• You will cooperate and communicate with stakeholders in several crossfunctional
teams and will coordinate strategies with Category Managers,
Purchasing Managers, Advanced Purchasers as well as vendors responsible for
the production sites
• You will ensure compliance with the strategic sourcing and SRM processes
• You will support the category initiatives in outsourcing and the KPIs in the
respective categories

Your Qualifications:
• Profound experience within purchasing including profound knowledge of the
various categories for the direct materials spent and specific in-depth
knowledge and experience regarding outsourcing, re-sourcing or 'make or buy'
activities
• Sufficient commodity purchasing and distribution experience to recognise and
anticipate trends and market movements in order to secure a competitive
advantage for the corporation
• Technical, commercial and/or financial background, ideally combined with a
relevant master degree or equivalent
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Additional language proficiencies are an advantage, especially German
• Strong and persuading communication skills
• Strong ability to think analytically as well as in a broad and strategic way in order
to formulate strategies, handle complex problems
• Willingness to travel about 60-80 days per year
