Your new role
As Production Planner you will coordinate daily production meetings and have clear direction on setting and driving the production plan. You will be responsible for all machine planning activities in conjunction with maintaining the work flow across other sites. You will make plans from SAP and issue machine schedules to manufacturing and work pro-actively with the production team to deliver your plan in order to maximise effective work flow. You will also maintain the production plan/schedule to track the output performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar planning/scheduling position within mechanical, process and/or plastics engineering is essential from the auto, injection moulding, pharmaceuticals, metal, glass, extrusion or printing industry. Excellent SAP and MRP knowledge is essential. Prior knowledge within production and further experience with KanBan is required. The ability to deal with manual processes and initiate the change to develop automated or updated systems is key. Due to the large number of product codes you must have excellent organisational skills. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to think cross-functionally.
