A successful candidate for the Senior Solution Engineer role will join the highly regarded and global Credit Risk Private Banking IT team, with Wroclaw branch currently employing 30+ people. Team skillset includes business analysis, software development in Java and .NET, quality assurance, test management, project and program management and beyond.
The International Ratings Model Application (IRMA) provides credit risk ratings for CS credit counterparties globally (both Private Banking and Investment Banking). IRMA consist of 15 models which calculate Probability of Default and Loss Given Default globally. These ratings can be used in both the assessment of risk in the credit application and approval process, as well as in the calculation of regulatory capital and Basel III regulatory reporting. Current IRMA implementation moves towards MyAnalytics solution. New Models will be delivered on the new platform. Therefore we see an opportunity for effective Senior SE to join the team and deliver new solutions.

IRMA Project team consis of approx. 10 highly motivated people who are Requirement Engineers, Solution Engineers (.NET and Java), and Quality Assurance Engineers who are currently located in Wroclaw, Poland. We are looking for a person who will join the Solution Engineering team.
- Implementation of the JAVA code as a part of the Agile (Scrum) team.
- Participating in the design activities
- Writing unit tests for created software
- Documenting the code and developed solutions
- Bug fixing and maintenance of created software
- Close cooperation with other Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Requirements Engineers, Project Manager and Test Engineers
- Performing review of the requirement specifications prepared by Requirement Engineers
- Supporting Test Engineers in all test activities
- More than 7 years of experience in software development with 5-7 years' experience using Java/JavaEE
- Experience in Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot/Spring MVC/Spring Data etc.)
- Experience in development of RESTful / SOAP Web Services
- Practical experience working with JUnit and Git
- Good knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) concepts and design patterns
- Experience in implementation of Microservices and multi-tier application platforms
- Good knowledge of JPA and SQL (preferable Oracle SQL)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Practical knowledge of UML and design tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- Experience in development, roll-out and maintenance of complex applications
- In-depth knowledge of IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
