Job description:
- Working as a part of a small team in design and implementation of various components in SRP
- Working with business analysts and project managers
- Communicating design ideas and taking part in peer reviews
- Interacting with other IT developers who are users of said components
- Communications with global team members and other colleagues
- Developing and unit testing code in a rapid moving and changing environment
- Working on large projects and sizeable team
- Working independently and in a team setting
- 5+years of experience with Java - deep understanding of core Java libraries suchas concurrency, collection and networking, demonstrable Java testing skills (e.g. JUnit or Mockito), JDBC is a plus, Java2D, JPA, JMS are a plus
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience of being involved in delivering large scale distribute systems and multi-threaded distributed systems
- Experience with messaging systems
- Strong background in data analysis within complex software environments
- Ability to describe practical day-to-day analysis techniques used in order to achieve goals
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or similar
