Job description
- The Senior Systems Analyst designs new technology solutions across a set of applications to improve business efficiency and productivity by acting as the primary technology liaison to the business community.
- Analyzes, designs, integrates, and implements solutions across multiple applications
- Design interfaces, features, and new technologies
- Advises on technical solutions for business requirements
- Prepares system test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Coordinates activities between testing and application development teams
- Coordinates production implementation
- Provides internal product technical support
- Work with project teams
- Understand system design and effectively contributes in finalizing the business requirements
- Defines requirements when engaging external vendors
- Experience with the system testingprocess
- Understanding of mid-rangemainframes, client-server platforms and relational database concepts
- Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills
- Ability to work independently withminimal direction
- Fluent English, written and oral
- At least 5 years experience assystem analyst or technical project experience
- University degree, preferably inComputer Science
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Progress 4GL
- CBAP or PMP certificate
- Experience in finance sector
- SQL/Sharepoint/MQ-Series
