For our client, international law company, we are looking for:
Senior Telecom Engineer
Within this role you would provide technical leadership, direction and guidance, conduct daily maintenance and provide operational support to ticket incidents and participate in company-wide planning activities. The role also includes ensuring all telephony infrastructure components are appropriately managed, resilient, documented and are in line with industry best practices. The majority of areas you would be responsible for includes implementing, managing and maintaining: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Presence/Jabber, Cisco UCS platforms, Cisco End point units and other mobility services as well as other integrated communication & video technology. You would also monitor using standard and specialized tools (e. g. SNMP), maintain the practice of continuous improvement and education and interact with all levels of the partnership and staff.
The perfect candidate should have at least 5 years of experience and hold at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant work experience. You should also have experience in the operation and implementation of technologies in a virtualised Microsoft and Cisco dominated environment, preferably at large size organization. You have to be able to work in teams of highly skilled technical professionals, analyse and resolve complex issues. To be successful you have to be capable of grasping new concepts without prior experience, be willing to travel, self-motivated, independent, flexible and creative. You have to be fluent in English too.
