Behalf of our Finnish Client we are searching for a versatile skilled person to act as a Site Manager at their local partner ‘s production unit in Siemianowice Śląskie. The person will be a key player for the operational issues as well as developing local production related issues between the business partners.
Our Client employs internationally 2,900 skilled professionals in the Defence, Security and Aerospace industry. Their Land business unit is a leading expert in armoured wheeled vehicles, mortar systems and related systems solutions and life cycle support services.
As a Site Manager your daily duties include a close co-operation and communication with business partners´ personnel in Poland and Finland. The work itself consists mainly working in projects as a sub-project manager for local production activities.
- Act as our Client´s point of contact at local partner´s production facilities
- Sub-project management
- Support our Client´s business operations in Poland related to e.g. Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Sourcing, Technology transfer, Assembly and Sales support
- Develop the co-operation between business parties based on needs arise from the projects and deliveries
- Support sourcing and sub-supplier network development
- Technical University Degree
- Capability to work in the international business environment
- Fluent command of English and Polish languages
- Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good negotiation skills and understanding on the contract management
- Very good problem solving skills and “can do” attitude
- Strong knowledge on supply chain management
- Knowledge of quality standards and Lean 5S + S methodology
- Military licence considered as an advantage
- Readiness to travel within Poland and abroad as needed
