Our team is working on several projects in variety of technologies, from Java in desktop applications, through Symfony, Django, node.js and Play! (+postgres or mongodb) to Javascript + HTML5 + CSS3 (on either Backbone.js or angularjs). So if you have an experience in any of these fields or you have a huge willingness to learn, you're welcome to check if it's a place for you!
We want you to be open-minded and able to think outside the box. On top of that, you need to be advanced in any of modern programming languages and at least communicative in English.

• develop proof of concepts that demonstrate data centric analytic services delivering structured and unstructured information

• architect potential approaches to proofs of concepts

• research, evaluate and recommend NoSQL solutions (existing & emerging) and best use cases for them

• integrate, via APIs, the following, but not limited to: web-services, custom wrappers, and third party applications

• draft technical document and present challenge solution architectures to partners

• learn and apply new technologies as the challenge portfolio evolves

• work with a combination of internal and external subject matter experts, architects, and developers

• Software development experience (including several of the following):

  • Java / Scala for web applications

  • MySQL or Oracle

  • Python

  • HTML, CSS, Ajax techniques experience is a plus

• Some NoSQL experience (Hadoop, Neo4j, MongoDB)

• knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS)

• experience in modern, complex web applications development

• understanding of analytics software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab)

• previous work in Agile development

• experience in continuous integration, unit testing, UX design
