We’re looking for talented software engineers to join our data platforms team and build the future systems for our expert content. You will be joining other extremely-passionate engineers that share a common interest in distributed systems, performance, scale, and solving problems with software and data. • leverage a wide array of infrastructure technologies such as Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka, Storm

• excellent coding skills (bonus if you’re familiar with Scala).

• know how to use UNIX or Linux.

• excellent understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms

• open-mindedness and ability to think outside the box

• at least communicative English

• experience or interest in Scala and Akka

• experience or interest in Cassandra, Mongo, Hadoop or similar systems/frameworks

• cloud computing

• knowledge on web technologies (HTML, CSS)
