- Develop and implement commodity-specific local sourcing strategies in accordance with objectives and strategies defined by the Group;
- Maintain overall supplier relationships and assist in building effective partnerships;
- Design and implement cost reduction projects to reach financial targets;
- Participate in new product development projects to ensure proper supplier selection and the achievement of total cost, quality, and profitable growth objectives;
- Prepare and implement procurement plans and schedules, lead and coordinate efforts of a project team;
- Request supplier quotations, coordinate with technical specialists to ensure proper communication of requirements, analyze and evaluate bids to determine optimal value, select the qualified bid;
- Negotiate best prices, terms and contractual agreements consistent with the Company's established quality standards and business requirements, conclude formal contracts;
- Leadership or participation roles on global pricing negotiation teams;
- Initiate and lead supplier qualification processes and supplier audits, evaluate suppliers annually;
- Strive for continuous improvement in such matters as cycle time, on time delivery, cost and quality,
- Maintain supplier data in SAP;
- Ensure that the business systems and SCM databases are updated with the most current commercial information;
- Prepare and communicate demand forecasts;
- Monitor purchase orders, order confirmations, delivery schedules; draw up and enforce claims, resolve non-conformity issues and questionable situations;
- Apply and implement SCM standards, tools and processes for business continuity in the area of responsibility.
- Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering;
- Fluency in English and Polish;
- At least 2 years of professional experience at similar position, preferably in manufacturing company;
- General understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings;
- Knowledge and understanding of purchasing terms and conditions, supply chain management and logistics issues;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (advanced Excel), experience in ERP systems (preferable SAP);
- Structured and proactive way of working, results-oriented approach;
- Strong negotiations skills;
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills;
- Strong ability to learn quickly;
