Globetek for its Client, an international EPC company from the oil & gas sector, is currently looking for the right candidate for the position of:
Static Equipment Engineer
Office – Southern Poland / projects all over the world
Responsibilities:
- Designing equipment within mechanical discipline for petrochemical and refinery industry,
- Participating in projects, including drawings preparation, inquiry preparation, bid comparison, evaluation of vendors’ workshop documentation, inspections and expediting,
- Verifying project documentation with respect to its completeness and accordance with standards, branch regulations and contract requirements,
- Participating in technical inspections by vendors (suppliers) of equipment in order to check the accordance with purchase order,
- preparing inspection protocol and accept equipment for shipping,
- Supervising the erection work,
- Participates in the development of branch know-how,
- Preparing technical part of offers.
Competencies and Profile:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position,
- Comprehensive professional experience in international company,
- Knowledge on codes ASME Sec VIII and/or AD 2000 and/or EN-13445,
- Knowledge of materials and their use in mechanical and plant engineering,
- Fluency in English,
- Very good CAD knowledge and 3D SolidWorks,
- Basic knowledge on thermodynamic related to heat exchange,
- Training as a welding engineer would an advantage,
- Willingness to travel and to work for some time abroad.
