For one Fortune 100 company, key player in its field of activity with over 100,000 employees we are looking for Statutory Accountants, for a very interesting project, Bucharest located.
The positions open require knowledge of one of the following languages: German, Italian, Slovakian, Polish, Bulgarian, Hungarian.
The Statutory Accountant will ensure the statutory preparation and audit review is an efficient and robust process. The scope of work will cover all country subsidiaries across the different businesses.
On the position of Statutory Accountant you will be responsible for preparation of the statutory financial statements under local GAAP, preparation of the Tax Exhibits following Tax regulations, monitor Accounting, local GAAP and Statutory rules, manage USGAAP to local GAAP conversion. You will also coordinate with site controllers to ensure timely flow of statutory & tax information, as well as PwC review of the Financial statements.
The Preferred Candidate should have minimum 1-2 years’ experience in preparation of Statutory statements / audits, as well as strong knowledge of local GAAP / knowledge of US GAAP and advance knowledge of English and any of the listed languages. The experience in an audit firm and SAP knowledge represents an advantage.
