Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components for the electronic industry located in Lower Silesia. Due to the company's decision to change character of the production for automotive production our Client needs to attract experienced candidates from the automotive industry who will help him adapt existing standards to the requirements of the automotive industry. Due to that fact we are looking for them at first Supplier Quality Engineer with automotive background. 

Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for preparing plant during the implementation of ISO/TS system, searching, validation and development of new suppliers, assimilations of automotive business procedures. Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible also for maintaining the optimal level of supplier quality after ISO/TS implementation, supervising the components from suppliers (PPAP), monitoring the suppliers improvements activities, auditing of suppliers according to company methodology and internal cooperation in order to improve quality (quality team, purchasing, production, engineering).

The ideal candidate should have higher education (preferred Quality Management), very good level of English (knowledge of German will be an advantage), min. 3 years of professional experience in similar post in quality (ISO, ISO/TS 16949, VDA, QS9000, quality problem solving tools, 5S, Kaizen) in automotive company and knowledge of APQP, Control Plan, FMEA, RCCA, SPC, MSA, Poka Yoke, Lean Manufacturing. Moreover should have project management skills, knowledge the audits techniques and MS Office (Power Point & Excel advanced). Furthermore should have influence and communication skills, analytical thinking and problem solving skills, Sigma Belt will be an asset.
