Role description:

As a Wireline Field Engineer, you are responsible for the coordination of the crew assigned to you for each operation. This includes logistics, training, mentorship, and coaching to foster an environment of collaboration. All data, equipment and personnel are the full responsibility of the Field Engineer at all times, so readiness, superb time management and preparation are key expectations for this role. Conducts operations of Wireline equipment / tools / techniques in order to ensure quality and cost effective service is provided to each customer. This position entails working as the of subject matter expert of Cased Hole / Open Hole / Intervention disciplines and the safe execution of all operations. From here the individual will attend other training schools where they will learn a variety of services related to formation evaluation, production logging, perforating services, microseismic, conveyance, imaging, and explosive and radioactive handling / safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and preparing for well site operations.
• To load out Wireline Services equipment to customer locations.
• Rig up and run operations on location.
• Interface with the customer representative and supervise onboard crew.
• Complete backload equipment as required.
• Perform maintenance / calibrations on operational and auxiliary equipment as per policy.
• Promote the usage of the TOPS reporting system, WISE and WPTS.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as assigned by Management.
• Complete TOPS reports and field reports daily and submit to Management.
• Work within Employee Connect modules to progress to the next level of field progression / competency as per the schedule in the Global Wireline Progression Program.
• Daily data archival for each job uploaded to Previewdata.com.
• Troubleshooting of issues discovered in the field and base.
• Accurate failure reporting in TOPS, on the same day as incurred.
• Document design deficiencies, request best practices, advise via WISE system.

Requirements:

• Experience with Electric line logging systems.
• Good Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical background.
• Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Educated to degree level in:Mechanical Engineering,Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering,Geophysics, Geology
  .
