Your new company
This globally recognised company located in Kraków is a fast growing organisation with stable employment conditions. A new team is now being set up to be responsible for Operational Accounting processes. For that reason there are new vacancies for German-speaking accountants.
Your new role
The team is responsible for Operational Accounting processes. These cover Period End Close processes as well as External and Regulatory Reporting (IFRS reporting, FINREP, COREP, etc.). The team is also dedicated to lead new standards/ regulations implementation, deliver process improvements, lead various streamlining projects and act as support for in-country teams. As an Operational Accounting Expert you will review external and regulatory reports prepared by junior staff, overview Balance Sheet reconciliations, lead consolidation activities, review GL posting and supporting calculation, prepare complex reports and reconciliations, support junior staff on application accounting principles and regulations, participate in projects implementing new standards or regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in accountancy (min. 6 years) and good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, IAS) will lead you to your success. You may have also worked in banking/ insurance/ financial services and/ or have project management experience, what will be an asset. You speak good English and German (min. B2), so you’re able to communicate easily in a business setting. You’ve got good knowledge of MS Excel and strong analytical abilities.
