For our client, well-known e-commerce company we are looking for:
Agile Scala Software Developer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Within this role you would build applications based on Spray and Akka (new data aggregation service), which would include highly-available distributed and concurrent applications. The role also involves test-driven development from unit-test level all the way up to e2e integration test and working as part of truly agile team. The incumbent would be working on the code as well as teaching junior developers how to write a clear code. You have to be comfortable with sharing the knowledge, you would also get a chance to take the lead on the project and implement your own ideas.
Perfect candidate should be open-minded, with deep knowledge of Scala. Understanding and practical experience with Spray and Akka are also a must. You have to be ready to learn something new. Our client’s prefers candidates which are happy with mastering completely new thing within the company. If you have the desire to share your knowledge and expand and master something new then this offer is perfect for you. Fluent level of English is required as well.
