Application Developer

Your task:
- Validate & release requirement specifications;
- Provide functional and technical specifications;
- Implement and document changes/enhancements in cooperation with the quality departments;
- Write code according to specifications. Tests/debugs code and performs system testing;
- Coordinate with vendor technical support for incidents and upgrades of prepackaged software;
- Coordinate with service center operations (SCO and Div. A Data Center) to provide the necessary IT infrastructure to the quality areas;
- Contribute to the implementation of the IT-Strategy in the respective area.
Your profile:
- Degree in (Business) Information Technology or related disciplines;
- At least 2 years work experience as Developer or relevant;
- Excellent analytical skills and process thinking;
- Experience and knowledge of database design, modeling, SQL and with Citrix environments;
- Experience developing web applications (ASP.NET/VB);
- Fluent spoken and written English (German language would be a plus);
- Flexibility, good team work experience and strong communication skills in an international environment;
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Experience and knowledge of Quality processes and use of Siemens QSYS product;
- Self-organizational and task management skills;
- Experience and knowledge in project management;
