BI Developer / Data Engineer [rekrutacja online]

In this position, you will be responsible for creating Business Intelligence reports and data sources exploration for easily available insights to support business functions and analytics. You will be as well participating in maintaining analytics infrastructure to be used across the business and consistently conduct research on new trends of data visualization and exploration.

On a daily basis, you will work with company multiple internal and external data sources within data analysis and visualization environment, such as: Microsoft PowerBI and MS SQL. This responsibility includes aggregation, normalization and data processing (e.g. ETL process) and business requirements gathering for future improvements in data analysis, automation, visualizations and business understanding.

• Microsoft PowerBI Desktop and Service
• Azure Analytics Services (tabular)
• MS SQL Server 2016, 2017 (on-premises, Azure IaaS and SaaS), MS SQL Server Integration Services
• Variety of data types and sources (SQL, Excel, CSV, JSON, API, Azure BLOB)
• Azure DevOps, GIT source control

Our expectations:

• Experience in the area of Business Intelligence (ideally Microsoft BI Stack e.g. Power BI, Analysis Services, SSIS)
• Experience in developing/maintenance ETL
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL language (T-SQL)
• Experience in Data Warehouse modelling and design patterns e.g. Star Schema
• Knowledge of Microsoft Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) will be a clear plus
• Good MS Excel skills, experience with Microsoft data visualization and “Power” applications
• Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesis skills; intellectual curiosity and industry knowledge
• Organizational skills and ability to work under time pressure and with complex tasks
• Highly responsible person who act independently within his/her own responsibility area
• Willingness to learn new data visualization techniques, methods and tools
• Team player
• Communicative in business English (both written and spoken)

• Experience designing or working with cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Experience with large data volumes
• Microsoft certifications
• Knowledge in shell scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
• Working with SSDT/VS Database Projects
