Bid Manager / Senior Bid Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for experienced and motivated professional for a position of Bid Manager / Senior Bid Manager. The successful Candidate will be responsible for developing an opportunities into a won contract. He /she will be in charge of managing the bid teams to deliver the full proposition to the customer within time, budget, resource constraints and guidance given by top management. The primary market of activities and customers base for the Bid Manager / Senior Bid Manager will be North West Europe region.
Main duties:
- Management of bid teams starting from a kickoff until the handover to the Transition Team
- Responsible for developing the proposition that meets the customer’s requirements and adheres to agreed Win strategy
- Maintain relationship with Customer and any third party advisors
- Determine and organize the resources that make up the bid team as required to deliver the proposition
- Prepares plan and budget, organizes and monitors the process to deliver the proposition
- Ensures development of high-quality proposal and presentation to the customer
- Demonstrates leadership to the team and provides direction concerning the content of the proposition
- Manages relationships with and communication to internal stakeholders together with the Deal Maker
- Organizes Win Workshops as appropriate to the bid and ensures follow-up of the outcomes
- Analyzes and understands the implications of the bid for future Delivery and acts accordingly in the development of the proposition
- Coordination and management of local and international bid teams starting from a kickoff until the handover to the Transition Team
- Ensure the application and adherence to global processes for approval and quality assurance
- Management of contract negotiations and due diligence
- Support long-term strategic customer development
Job Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IT Outsourcing Business, as well as knowledge of the market leading operation models
- Previous experience in bid management in IT industry (IT Outsourcing Business desirable)
- Proficiency in pre-sales risk management processes and tools
- Good knowledge of IT service segments and processes according to ITIL
- Business fluent in English language in written and spoken; German or French is a plus
- Strong enforcement, planning and communication capabilities
- Strong customer focus mindset and high work ethic
- Flexible, pro-active, self-motivated and self-starter individual who is eager to learn and has a keen perception
- Entrepreneurial thinking and execution
- High degree of flexibility in dealing with the customer (and any third party consultant)
