BTS Operability Specification Engineer [rekrutacja online]

Location: Wrocław

We are looking for Base Station Specification Engineers to Architecture and Specification R&D team in our location in Wroclaw. As Specification Engineer for Base Station you will be a part of local specification team, however the daily work will be performed within the international team of product managers, system and SW architects, technical leaders, software and integration engineers.

We offer job in friendly and supporting team of specification engineers and architects and constant opportunity to extend your knowledge about 5G-NR/LTE wireless technologies.

Daily Activities:

Your main activity will be BTSOAM (Base Station Operation and Maintenance) specification preparation (requirements and use cases). To prepare the specification you will how to follow existing processes and:

Analyze BTS feature requirements,
Analyze existing requirements and use cases to align new requirements/use cases with legacy specification,
Collect knowledge from system specialists, architects and technical leaders from various areas (BTSOAM, UPlane, Cplane, RFSW, platform sw etc.),
Analyze impact on BTS software and hardware components,
Cooperate with testing teams to ensure the specification is testable,
Finally, based on collected data and analysis, specify requirements/use cases and organize the specification review to ensure its high quality.

UML (Visio, plantUML)
Rational DOORS, Collaborator
Jira
Version control and code review systems

 Our expectations:

Bachelor or equivalent education in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Maths, Physics or other similar faculty
Experience in the preparation of technical documentation or technical analyzes will be an advantage,
Basic knowledge of 5G-NR/LTE wireless technologies, very good knowledge will be additional advantage,
Very good analytical, problem decomposition skills and open-mindedness,
Positive attitude and willing to solve not trivial problems,
Inquisitiveness, diligence, accuracy,
Quality orientation and learning agility,
Communication skills as the position requires constant contact with other experts to find and agree technical solutions,
Capability to work in international multi-site environment,
Very good level in English, both written and spoken
