Job Description:
Capacity Planner/Manager will be responsible for the monitoring of capacity issues, development effective capacity plans, ensuring that the service provided to customers meets the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
The range of activities and tasks to be undertaken are to:
- Monitor capacity requirements and usage of IT infrastructure and services
- Liaise with and assist internal customers in identifying and planning their current and future capacity requirements; Ensure Capacity demand from the client is properly captured
- Review Forward Schedule of Change, attend Change Advisory Board meetings and assess changes for their impact on capacity and its performance
- Produce capacity analyses and plans in support of projects within the organization
- Undertake analyses and reporting of capacity requirements of new or potential customers
- Provide advice and guidance to other departments to help them optimize best use of resources
- Ensure all issues affecting capacity analyses and planning are communicated in a timely and efficient manner
- Capable of writing formal proposals as well as justification documents for capacity recommendations
Job Requirements:
- University degree in IT Discipline or equivalent in years of progressive experience in IT environment.
- Previous experience in IT Capacity Planner/Analyst role or past analytics background is a plus
- Ability to speak English/German/French/Dutch B2+ (desirable English as the second foreign language on the B2 level at least)
- In depth knowledge of the technical limitations that impact performance and capacity
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of an organization, including interaction with senior level business partners and with the customers.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple high priority efforts/ competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
- Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
- With general methodical and disciplined approach to work;
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Tools. SQL is a plus
