About the role:
As a Director of Manufacturing you will lead and take the ownership of the Objectivity Manufacturing Vertical (OMV). You will be accountable for generating revenue, shaping Objectivity's sales, marketing, accounts or delivery teams by adding 'industry thinking' to the manufacturing division.At the same time, you'll bring though leadership and shape customer thinking.

Your daily work:
- Conceive, define and develop the proposition and go to market strategy for the OMV.
- Manage the business domain knowledge acquisition and retention strategy within the OMV.
- Create the go to market strategy and lead Objectivity representation in industry forums and events.
- Analytical in approach and evangelize technology solutions to create a fit for purpose & pragmatic strategy/approach and thinking that inspires customers.
- Shape the marketing content, e-books and white papers that are industry relevant and customer engaging.
- Know our existing and future clients and the industry - The 'Why, What and How' of their strategy and tactics.
- Build strong relationships with customer executive teams to form mutually beneficial relationships.
- Accelerate the sales and business development teams in their effort to win business from existing and new customers.
- Ambassador of our company ethos and values to promote Objectivity as an attractive place of work for customers and employees.
Must-have skills & experience:
- Strong manufacturing industry experience in a wide range of industries.
- At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing vertical.
- Detailed manufacturing market knowledge and understanding of the use of technology in engineering/manufacturing industries.
- Enterprise level, solution modelling experience.
- Customer-focused, able to lead complex business transformation initiatives of enterprise customers.
- Authentic, Accountable, Reliable trustworthy, problem solver who is curious individual and enthusiastic to help customers solve their problems.
- Comfortable to lead the most complex conversations that straddles technology, business, commercial, risks & politics and on his/her own.
- A pragmatic intellectual, independent, with eye for detail and yet can keep the big picture in mind.
- External/Customer Focused - wants to be close the clients and projects - Experience in creating compelling business cases to guide customer investments.
- Strong experience to build strong relationships with new and existing customers, leading to long-term, profitable partnerships.
- Inspiring leader - must be enthusiastic about working closely with the teams and having strong 'hands on' mentality.
- Native German speaker with strong communication skills in English.

- Experience in international work, for multinational companies.
