Engineering Manager (K/M)

ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:
- Lead the engineering team
- Shape and deliver the engineering strategy
- Analysis of the OEE data and Downtime trends (pareto analysis) to feed into the long-term engineering strategy
- Conduct briefings to direct reports within the Engineering team
- Ensure that all Statutory, Regulatory and Procedural Controls within the department are fully compliant
- Ensure the Engineering function achieves its operational, financial and sustainability targets on a weekly, periodic and annual basis. Where necessary ensure that a corrective action plan is in place to address areas of underperformance
- Investigate new engineering technologies and the latest equipment developments to planned assess the feasibility of implementing on site
- Work with the Maintenance team to find ways to improve ways of working and effectiveness of the department
- Lead the asset care strategy
- Work with the PPM & Stores Co-ordinator to develop a rolling 5-year asset care plan
- Owns the shutdown plans: work with the Engineering, Maintenance & Capital Projects teams to generate and deliver plans for annual shutdowns
- Lead the Health, Safety & Environment agenda for the engineering department, including statutory compliance and energy management
- Supporting Maintenance, H&S and QA departments in preparations for external and internal audits
- Manage the engineering & maintenance budget
- The operation and maintenance of site services
- Key link between the engineering, maintenance and capital projects teams
- Work with the capital projects team to ensure successful handover of projects to the owner with all necessary documentation and other pre-requisites in place and signed off
- Work with the maintenance manager to carry out succession planning within the maintenance and engineering departments
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate an improvement in overall business performance
- Advise Senior Management of any aspects of our operations which have or could have a detrimental effect on the environment
- Manage performance and standards within the team, in a fair and consistent manner; invoking the disciplinary procedures as and when necessary
WYMAGANIA:
- Higher Education/University degree
- Experience: 3-5 years as Engineering Manager
- Computer literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience of FMCG
- Practical knowledge: Mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, industrial automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, thermal energy, air conditioning and ventilation, machine construction
- Practical knowledge of CAD software
