Local Unit & Position Description
Digital Channels Poland is an internal development center providing application management and development services to the global DNV GL organization. The section is part of an international development organization with colleagues in Shanghai, Oslo and Hamburg. We develop and maintain DNV GL’s application portfolio within the areas of Web, SharePoint and mobile applications. As a Full Stack Developer in Digital Channels Poland, you will be involved in developing applications from idea to operations.
Responsibilities

Design of the overall architecture of web applications

Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application

Building reusable code and libraries for future use

Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability

Implementation of measures to ensure security and data protection

Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
Technical skills & experience
-
Solid knowledge of web application development on the Microsoft .NET framework (ASP.Net MVC, Entity framework and C#)

Ability to work on both front-end and back-end of applications

A good understanding of mobile-first web application and responsive design
-
Strong skills in HTML 5 and CSS (Bootstrap, LESS/SASS)

Good at JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS and ReactJS)

A good understanding of object oriented design principles and patterns

A good understanding of SQL Server and database design
-
Experience with Agile/Scrum, Azure, SharePoint 2013 or higher / O365 development skills, Smartphone development skill is a plus
